Leon Draisaitl loses with Edmonton Oilers against Vegas Golden Knights


Bitter NHL defeat for Leon Draisaitl: The German ice hockey star suffered his seventh defeat of the season with his Edmonton Oilers in the last minute.

In the 2:4 draw against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Canadians were still leading 2:1 after the second period, but lost the game after conceding two goals in the final minute.

Draisaitl missed out on his two shots on goal, as did strike partner Connor McDavid, who celebrated his comeback after recovering from an ankle injury.

Seider defeats Reichel

There was a victory for runner-up world champion Moritz Seider and his Detroit Red Wings in the German duel with Lukas Reichel and the Chicago Blackhawks. Seider scored a goal to make it 4-1; it was the sixth success for the Red Wings in the young season.
