Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley scored the decisive point in winning the Presidents Cup for the best golfers in the USA.
The 38-year-old won his game against the South Korean Si Woo-Kim in the final twelve singles, thereby securing the US team’s 18.5:11.5 victory against the World team (excluding Europe) in Montreal, Canada.
Bradley will captain the US team at the Ryder Cup in New York next year. In 2023, the Europeans defeated the US selection in Rome with 16.5: 11.5 points. Like the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup is held every two years. Of the 15 comparisons, the USA won 13.
World selection last won in 1998
The world team’s only victory dates back to 1998. In 2003, there was a draw. In the Presidents Cup, twelve US professionals play against a world team. But there are no European players at the start for the “Internationals”. The Europeans only compete against the USA in the Ryder Cup.
