On Sunday evening after the conclusion of the ATP Finals, the gaming association announced that Turin would no longer be the venue for the season finale.
The tennis professional season finale will be held in Italy until 2030. The ATP announced this on Sunday evening shortly after world number one Jannik Sinner’s final victory in Turin. The ATP Finals have been taking place in Turin since 2021, and next year the metropolis at the foot of the Alps will be the venue for the last time. The possible new host cities for the years 2026 to 2030 “are currently being examined and will be announced in due course,” it said in a statement.
“Over the past four years, Italy has proven to be an excellent host for our most prestigious event, with the vision of creating a truly special experience for players and fans,” said ATP boss Andrea Gaudenzi: “We look forward to raising the bar together to continue to raise it higher.”
Sinner gave the Italian fans a home win with a 6:4, 6:4 win against the American Taylor Fritz on Sunday.
