According to consistent media reports, “Sky” will no longer show the conference of Bundesliga games on Saturday afternoons from the coming 2025/26 season.
Sky invention will go to DAZN from 2025/26
The internet sports channel DAZN, which also has a fee, secured this Package A with the rights for the conference call – which is an invention of Sky’s predecessor Premiere. The rights for the 79 Sunday games (Package D) have also gone to DAZN.
Sky also received the controversial TV rights auction in the second attempt Package B. The pay-TV broadcaster was awarded the contract to broadcast the Bundesliga live on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and on Friday evening, as well as the relegation games.
Sky also received this from the German Football League (DFL). Package C with the games on Saturday at 6.30 p.m. and with the Supercup. It is the smallest package with 34 games, but is in demand thanks to the top games.
According to “kicker” information, the broadcasting rights to the 2nd league on pay TV remain entirely with Sky. The first of the 15 TV packages for the Bundesliga have now been awarded.

The DFL will repeat the auction for the Bundesliga’s media rights from November 25th. The reason is a legal dispute between DAZN and the DFL.

Free TV packages not yet awarded
