Golf professional Stephan Jäger still has a good chance of his second victory on the PGA Tour at the Black Desert Championship in Ivins, Utah. The 35-year-old had to give up his half-time lead on the third day of the tournament with a round of 68 strokes, but remained tied for second place with a total of 196 strokes. First-place American Matt McCarty is just two shots ahead with a total of 19 under par.

Jäger got off to a strong start again on the par 71 course with three birdies on the first nine holes, but only followed up a bogey with another birdie. The Munich native is in position 57 in the world rankings and celebrated his first victory on the PGA Tour in Houston at the beginning of April.
